Dare to Dream. LOTV sketch challenge
Can't get enough of these fairies from LOTV and this one is called On tiptoe. I used the sketch by Dawny P, on the LOTV challenge blog and the papers are by Craftworks Cards, still using up those papers from my stash, trouble is I said I would use up all the old stuff before buying new but I have tons and don't think I will last before temptation rears and I see the next desirable must have range of papers.

Mojo Monday 172
I'm always getting asked for Birthday cards so this is just a ordinary Birthday card, although the Flower stamp that I used is far from ordinary, I just love this stamp set from Verve Stamps, Great Friend and I think you will be seeing it lots. The paper is from October Afternoon, Fly a Kite which I adore but fast running out of, does anybody know of a stockist in the UK? and some of that fabulous seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.
Sketch is from Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

Great Friend
Another card that I made with my stamp set from Verve. I just love this set and layered the flowers and stamped the leaves onto the embossed card. I had these packs of embossed cards lurking in a drawer since forever and hadn't used them and I am trying to use up some of my stash. I really like the way this card has turned out and it was so simple.
I have had a cold for the whole of 2011, I hardly ever get a cold but when I do it is always a stinker, first the runny nose, then a rattling cough the the catarrh, catarrh has cleared but still got the cough. It has really taken it out of me, and I'm so tired all the time. Well that's my excuse for doing nothing.

No winter lasts forever- VLVJAN2011- week 2
No winter last forever no spring skips its turn, what a nice saying, just wish that winter was a bit shorter, but it does make you feel better knowing that Spring is just around the corner. I was tidying the garden yesterday moving some the dead stuff that didn't survive all that snow we had, and noticed some spring bulbs poking though.
I made this card for the challenge sketch over at Vive La Verve. just loving this challenge. I have some more stamps winging there way across the Atlantic as we speak at least I hope so, they are having a sale at Verve Stamps at the moment so hope I managed to keep the cost below the Customs Duty charge, last time I had to pay £13 duty, don't know how the work out the cost but it does seem very steep.

Viva La Verve-Beautiful You -Every day
Goodmorning everyone, though not sure whats so good about it, it is dark and dismal out there again, it doesn't seem to get light around here anymore, and to top it off I have a stinking cold. I had resisited everyone's sniffles sneezing and coughing for nearly all of 2010 and then on New Years day I woke up with the sniffles and knew that was it. But the one good thing about today is that Grace is coming over to play as her Mum has an interview for a job this afternoon.
I bought some new stamps from Verve Stamps last month and I'm loving them so much I have just ordered some more, and couldn't resist playing along with this sketch, this week.
Papers are Mellissa Frances. Vintage Posy
Stamps, Verve Stamps. Beautiful You

We have had a little bit of sunshine today the first time we have seen the sun since before Christmas. though I don't mind the rain it's better then snow.
