Beautifull

At last things seem to be getting back to normal, after the Bank Holiday weekend and kids back to school soon. Brian I walked yesterday and we picked a bag of blackberries and this morning I made 6 jars of Blackberry and Apple Jam, then I made some bread, wow did I enjoy the thick piece of homemade bread and jam, or a jam buttie as us northerners call them, sod the diet, talking of diets its WW tomorrow bet I,ve put that 1lb back on the one that took me weeks and weeks to lose. Oh well will have start again tomorrow.

With things back to normal, I managed a challenge card, the sketch is from The Sweet Stop. I have a family Anniversary coming up soon. I used stamps from Waltzingmouse.

Christmas Tags

I finally managed a little play, and made some tags for Grace's school's Christmas Bazzar.
I used the Sewing Box Christmas and the Oven Fresh Gingerbread Joy stamp sets from Waltzingmouse.
The Oven Fresh one was the prize that I choose.
The weather here today is a typical Bank Holiday weekend.
But when Brian gets back the golf we are off to a Craft Fair, but can't decide which one, there are two this weekend but in different directions one at Stonor Park near Henley and Wrest Park near Bedford. have to make my mind up soon.

An Award from Lynda

I haven't blogged for ages been so busy, with child minding, hubby at home, weddings and daughter in law visiting and that's just in the last week or so, hope to get the chance to catch up with things next week, even so I managed to get an award.

Thanks Lynda for the award.
The rules of this award to to name three things that I like about myself. Well there are lots of things I like about myself, as I always say if you don't like yourself how can you expect anyone else to like you. so here goes.
1. My generous nature, sometimes too generous as I give things to people that I later wish I had kept for myself.
2. My willpower to lose weight, the willpower I didn't know I had.
3. My kindness to others.

Now I have to pass this on to 7 others.

Simon says Stamp and Show

I was blown away this week by the challenge over on the Simon says Stamp and show challenge blog, and when I visited Wendy's blog I was even more blown away. I spent ages there and checked out all her wonderful creations. The challenge was to make something in Wendy's style. And although I didn't have anything of Wendy's managed with what I had to hand. and this is the result.

OCCSC27

I used the challenge sketch from Our Creative Corner for this card today another Christmas Card, yes still in Christmas mode and I'm loving these papers from Nitwits Deer Friends. And I just knew that those ribbons from Kath would come in handy.
Well I did have a rest from Christmas by making some Wedding Goodies, see previous post.

It is raining here today and I'm looking after Grace today and nt sure what we are going to do. she would watch Playhouse Disney all day if I let her. but her Mum wouldn't be happy if I let her watch too much TV.

Card Patterns 75

Yes. Still in Christmas mode. this time the sketch is from Card Patterns. I coloured the flowers with Fired Brick distress ink.
Looking after Grace for a few days this week so maybe not much time to craft,
I know I usually don't have much too say, it seems like nothing much happens here, which is true,  apart from the housework and some crafting, what would I do without them. Might have to go out and get a job, but even though sometimes I go nearly all day and don't speak to anyone, I do quite enjoy my own company.
Anyway enough of feeling sorry for myself.
Papers: Pink paislee, Mistletoe & Co
