The Sweet Stop 66

Another challenge this time for The Sweet Stop challenge blog. Using the kit from Nitwits, Joyful Hearts this kit is so pretty.
I've also ordered the kit by Nitwits Deer Friends and although I ordered it at the same time it hasn't yet come.

I have a lttle visiter here today and tomorrow, Grace is coming, and for once I will have her to myself as her grandad is at work, don't get a look in when he's here.
She is such a joy, and  I love her so very much, she is such a delight to have around.

Laura's sketch 57 2S4U

This kit by Nitwits came today from QVC, and I couldn't wait to play with it but I was stuck for a layout so thought as I hadn't done a challenge for a while decided to do Laura's sketch from 2 sketches 4 You.

I haven't posted for a while but have been busy making some items for the Christmas bazaar at grace's school, although it isn't until November, thought I had better make a start, I've been making gift tags and card holders, and thought maybe I would make some bookmarks, I think I will need lots of little things that will sell easily, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I will post some photos later in the year when I have lots to show you.

Also I am chuffed to bits to find out that I had won the challenge over at the craftworks cards blog.can't wait to receive my prize.

Snow flake ornaments.

My daughter Nicola asked me to if I wanted to sell some cards and things at Grace's school Christmas bazzaar, which although it isn't until the end of November  thought I had better make a bit of a start, I bought these spellbenders snowfake dies ages ago, so decided to make some ornaments.can't decide which one is my favourite. Some have Tim Holtz distress inks and stickles some have glue and then glitter, the first one is perfect pearls.

Had a chance to make a card today, not been feeling too good, I'm taking antibiotics for a rash and they are making me feel queasy, not been feeling up to doing anything much except a bit of crafting to take my mind off it. I used Laura's sketch from 2 sketches 4 you.

Friend, 2 Sketches 4 you

It's been a while since I did a sketch from 2 sketches 4 you, well you can't do them all can you. but I really like this sketch by Kazan this week. 2 sketches was one of the very first challenge blogs that I did partake in, when I first started blog hopping.
Well it is such a beautiful day here, forcast to be 30C so no sitting in my craft room today I don't really do sunbathing but I need to get my legs brown, going to a wedding later this month and my legs will be on show, well knees down anyway.

To have & to hold

No challenge for this card today, we are going to a wedding later this month, and this is the card I made. I used some HOTP papers I have had for ages, I have so many papers that sometimes I forget what I have. Keep thinking I don't need anymore DP then I see something I love and can't resist, so I think it is good that even the old papers come in handy.
I made the flower from some vellum which is from the same pack, using Tim Holtz Alterations die, which I then distressed with TH ink brushed corduroy.

This is my card for Our Creative Corner challenge blog made using these fabulous papers again from October Afternoon. I got the little flowers from Tesco believe it or not and BOGOF. It's a very simple card this week.

This made me laugh yesterday Grace got a new swimsuit for her hols and also some flippers, mask and snorkel, and as soon as she got home had to try it on she thinks it's OK! looks like she going to be doing a lot of swimming.

Pink Heels

What a super stamp this is, had it for a little while and this is the first time I've used it, but I think it I will be using it lots more. I added micro beads to to the heels and the floweres. I have a friend who is a shoe buyer
and has a whole room at home just for her shoes and they are usually killer heels. I myself just go for comfort, having had a job where I was on my feet all day. I think if your feet hurts it shows in your face, maybe that explains the wrinkles.
I made this using the sketch from Card Patterns.
Card: craftworks cards
Stamps: Hero Arts
Microbeads: Martha Stewart.
