Card Patterns

Not sure that I like the way this card turned out, something's missing. But will post it on the Card Paterns challenge anyway, no more time to craft now.

This is the last post here for a few days. Busy few days ahead. My daughter Nicola is treating me to a spa day tomorrow as it is my birthday on Sunday, and my son, daughter-in-law and grandson are coming down for the weekend. My grandson Rhys is 17 and everytime I see him he has grown taller.

Partridge in a pear tree

I have had this stamp from Unity for quite a while now but hadn't inked it up, so when I got these Martha Stewart papers from QVC I had to have a go. I quite like the way it turned out.

2 Sketches 4 You

Here are my cards for Kazan Sketch 38 and Anja's Bonus sketch when I printed the sketch's I didn't know which way up they were and it was only after when I checked the blog that I realized I had made them both sideways, think this may rank as one of Kath's dozey mare moments. I said it was catching.

The first card is Anja's Bonus Sketch turn on its side of course, but I like the way it turned out anyway. The second card is Kazan's sketch 38, with that wonderful image from Lynda.

Card Patterns 38

Some more Christmas cards, my box of cards is almost overflowing, I used the sketch from Card patterns and I love these gingerbread men, I bought the Martha Stewart papers from QVC last week. I really must start writing down the ingredients not for the gingerbread but the stash I used on my cards so I can list them properly.
Edited to add: The gingerbread men are from a border along the bottom of the paper, Posted by Picasa

Carol's Sketch Fun 17

I managed to make a couple of cards last night after Grace had gone home, we had a good day making cupcakes we wanted to make orange icing since Halloween is soon. Not that they will last that long. Did you know they don't make orange food colouring so had to mix our own, we had to put in loads to get the right shade of orange, just as well I bought the colouring without the E no's.In the afternoon the sun came out so a walk to the park was next on the list. It always amazing me how much energy 4 year old's have. (without the e no's)
This one is for Carol's Sketch Fun Carol's sketches are so inspiring if you haven't visited her yet pop on over.

Recycle

More Birthday's next month, which is coming around so quickly, anyway it makes a change from christmas cards. There is a sketch and a theme this week at The Sweet Stop, which is recycle something. I recyled the flowers which were once a candle ring and the green ribbon was one of those annoying clothes hanger things that always stick out of you top, I always cut them off.

I have a little visiter today, Grace wasn't feeling up to going to school today, said she had a cold, but at the moment she is dancing around the lounge as we are watching HSM3, think she just wanted a Duvet day with GrandmaPosted by Picasa
