Love Stories ~ Clean and Simple # 84

I made this for the clean and simple challenge blog . using the new kit called Love Stories from Stampin Up, which only arrived this morning but I couldn't wait to play with it.
The weather here has turned to winter again, thought it was supposed to be spring now, what is going wrong here. Oh well at least its perfect crafting weather.

Just for You

Isn't she sweet! I couldn't resist her when I saw her at the NEC, the sketch is from Our Creative Corner.
I also added some glitter to her skirt, socks and sleeves.
Papers: Craftworks Cards, sugar and spice
Image: Flower Soft
Sentiment: Stampin' Up
Heart Punch: Martha Stewart
Ribbon: from my stash
Edited to add: thank you for your lovely comments about my lovely colouring but I can not tell a lie, the image came already coloured but I might have to buy the rubber stamp, and see if I really colour it as well.

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday, meeting up with so many wonderful ladies, the wonderful Kath, Enys, Lynda and her lovely hubby Mark, Dawny P. Bought some lovely stuff and can't wait to play with it all.
My lovely daughter-in-law Rhiannon was so very kind to come with me and came to spend the weekend with us. cooked Sunday lunch for all the family, love having all the family round the dinner table, all except Rhys my grandson who perfered to spend the weekend with his girlfriend Holly than visit his old granny, and who can blame him, he is nearly 18 and is learning to drive so I bet we will see him lots when he passes his test, when he wants a break to spend some time near London.

Thank You

Here's a thank you card I made yesterday. We have been invited to a nephew's wedding and I need to RSVP. I love weddings and this one is at the end of July. I hope the dress I bought a while back will still fit, lost another 1 1/2 lbs. I haven't worn it yet not been any where to wear it.
At last my Tim Holtz stuff came, it was on wait list, so I used the rock candy on the butterflies I love it not sure if you see it on the photo.Looking forward to experimenting with the rest of the stuff that came with the book, which is just awesome. Put his postcard up in my craft room, hope hubby doesn't think I have a secret admirer, I wish!

I have a friend who is going on a cycling holiday soon, to Amsterdam, she has done hardly any training for this so I think the sentiment is quite appropriate. Good Luck Sally, rather her than me, good job Holland is flat.
I made this using the sketch from 2 sketches 4 you.

Card Patterns #55

Another sketch challenge again today, this one from Card Patterns, we sometimes neglect the men in our lives when it comes to cardmaking, and I know Fathers Day isn't until June, the 20th actually, the same day as Our Ruby Wedding Anniversary.
I will be seeing my lovely daughter in law soon, and she always dips into my card box, I know she will be wanting a card for her father-in-law her own father is no longer with us, and my hubby and I no longer have our parents.
WW meeting today, only lost 1/2lb last week, really struggling to lose the last 1/2stone, and after spending most of the weekend eating, and Mothers Day, don't hold out much hope of a lose today.

Paper: Papermania, Sunshine

I won super 6 on Card Patterns 52

I was so pleased to find out this morning that I had won super 6 on Card Patterns
It is a beautiful sunny morning here and what a difference a bit of sun makes, planted some spring flowers in my tiny courtyard garden yesterday I bought them a few weeks ago but the weather was just awful to get out there.
I will be back later to post a card for clean and simple.
