The Challenge at All Sorts this week is something for the boys... It is my hubbys birthday soon so I made a card for him, though he will be 59 so not sure he is classed as a boy, but like most men he behaves like one.
Anyway this card is out of my comfort zone, I don't do men's cards, well only if I have to, I machine stitched it another first and then distressed the edges, and then inked the edges. I don't do distressing, well maybe I do now. The Papers are "Wild Asparagus" by My Mind's Eye, and the stamps are by The Unity Stamp Co.
perfect man's card and yes they never quite grow up do they....always little boys at heart....big hugs kath xxxxx
ReplyDeleteYou've done a great job Carol...why are men's cards so hard to create? Stars are always a good option, luckily my hubby likes animals, so that helps a lot!!
ReplyDeleteThe stitching looks good too :)

Great 'man' card and I love all of the distressing and stitching.

Hi Carol
ReplyDeleteA really great "male card" - brilliant idea and I love your ribbon! I bet your hubby will love it.
Your hubby is probably like me - much younger on the inside than the outside. I am only about 14 inside LOL!!!
Thank you for joining in the Allsorts Challenge this week.
Love Jules xx
