Carol's Sketch Fun
It's been another sunny day here, it started off cold and misty and decided to go into to town so put on a few layers of clothing, then the weather changed the mist went and the sun came out, a bit like the image on my card. this is another stamp I had been wanting to use for a while. another super sketch from Carol and this is certainly one I will use again.
The Pink Elephant Challenge
My second post this evening and another challenge this time from TPE I just couldn't resist this sketch. I had wanted to use this stamp for a while now, I used papers by Stampin Up, and the stamp is by The Unity Stamp Co. Atfer I took the photo I realized that I left off the sentiment in the bottom right of the sketch, but to be honest I don't think it needs another sentiment.
2 sketches 4 you. Laura's sketch 35
The papers, ribbon, and gromlet are all from We R Memory Keepers,at first look I thought the sketch from 2 sketches 4 you was a little bit complicated, then I looked at it again and decided to do the simple option.

Halloween Cards
I was doing a bit of blog hopping yesterday which is something I do most days, and found the class to make these cards over on 2 peas in a bucket there is PDF file to download. Although I didn't have all the correct materials etc, I made them anyway. Aren't they cute.
2 sketches 4 you
This morning the postman brought me a box of stamps and some papers from the lovely Carol who has just become demonstrator for Stamping Up! Here is my card for Kazan's sketch over on 2 Sketches 4 you. The Papers are by Stampin Up called Haiku. The Stamp is by unity Stamp Co Aug KOTM.
Walking update.
No card to post today but hoping to do some challenges later, got a few project's ongoing, a calendar and a recipe book, but not finished yet.
Thought I would let you know how the walking on Monday went. Me and my friend Sally went to Wendover Woods which is a few miles from home and did a circular walk which was 2 miles, it was a lovely walk and not too far, a few little hills just enough to get us a little puffed. It was so quite there with the breeze whistling through the trees, and some great views over the Vale Of Aylesbury. Then back to the cafe, for a coffee and back home in time for lunch.
We are going again next week, we enjoyed it so much and it made me feel good, who know might just lose that last Stone, that I am struggling with.
Hugs Carol x

AllSorts Sketch 18
The weather is a bit dull here today, but we have had a few good days here lately so hoping it will brighten up later, I think the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. Had Grace stay over last night so we are off out soon to take her back home so thought I would post this before we go.
I am also starting to go walking with my friend Sally on a regular basis, starting in the morning, haven't done any real exercise for ages so wish me well.
Anyway here is my card for all sorts which is a sketch and a two colour combo, I choose to use these Anna Griffin papers which I am in love with, they are so elegant. so my colour combo is Silver and White, how exciting is that eh!lol.

I needed to make an anniversary card for a special couple so I used Laura's sketch from 2sketches 4 you . The papers are K & Co, and the stamp is August KOTM by The Unity Stamp Co. I stitched the paper but still can't stitch straight using the new mini sewing machine I bought last week from TK Maxx for the bargain sum of £9.99

All Sorts 17 Something for the boys
The Challenge at All Sorts this week is something for the boys... It is my hubbys birthday soon so I made a card for him, though he will be 59 so not sure he is classed as a boy, but like most men he behaves like one.
Anyway this card is out of my comfort zone, I don't do men's cards, well only if I have to, I machine stitched it another first and then distressed the edges, and then inked the edges. I don't do distressing, well maybe I do now. The Papers are "Wild Asparagus" by My Mind's Eye, and the stamps are by The Unity Stamp Co.

Carol's Sketch Fun
I made another card today for another challenge blog, this time for Carol's Sketch Fun, and another Christmas card I'm afraid, I know it's a crime to mention the C word but it is September already and i'm hopeing to make enough cards to be able to sell a few to my friends. I'm loving this paper from Anna Griffin. Don't think I will be letting this one go though. I used to work in Retail and I hated christmas, but since my I gave up work I love it.
2 sketches 4 you. Joy is a flower..
I made this card for my brother-in-law John and his wife Alison, yesterday john rang me to tell me that they are expecting their 2nd child together, and I thought this lovely stamp from The Unity stamp Co was just perfect, and I hope that their family continues to bloom and grow. I used the sketch by Kazan on the 2 sketches 4 you challenge blog, which I turned on it's side.
I used paper by We R memory keepers.
