My Reversible Bucket Bag and The Bag Making Bible.

The weather today is awful it is cold and windy and the rain has lashed it down all day, so an afternoon sewing was on the cards, well not quite on the cards as I haven't made a card for ages. I loved this fabric as soon as i saw it on the web, I bought it from J B Quilting Fabrics and was so impressed with the speedy delivery.the fabric is call Maison de Garance by Moda fabric.

I think I like the red side better. The button flower I made into a brooch so I can pin it to the reverse side when I fancy a change.
This bag is so useful, it has about six patterns and lots of tutorials and tips.

  3. Hi Carol, Just been blog hopping and stopped by to see your gorgeous bags. The fabrics you have used are really lovely, too. It makes me want to get my sewing machine out again. I used to make lots of my own clothes and soft furnishings, but paper crafts seem to have taken over most of my spare time now.

Hoping to see more lovely creations x
