I haven't played along at All Sorts challenge blog for a while but since I got these new Stamps from Waltzingmouse last week I can't stop playing with them, and this fit in with the theme just fine.

Clean and Simple #79

Another challenge another day, and the weather here is getting a little big warmer at last, but better not speak too soon it might snow any minute. The sketch is from Clean and Simple, but I still can't resist adding some patterned paper.

And for all you lovely bloggy friends who wished me luck at WW yesterday I lost 2lbs so I must be doing something right. I've lost 33lbs so far but is very slow going.I put on 3lbs over Xmas and our holiday in the Algarve but at least I am now back in the Zone but don't know how long that will last.But I am determined to get there in the end only 7lbs more to my goal.

Compose a Card #5

It is week five on the Compose a card and I'm loving it although I don't always have the correct ingredients, it is a challenge thinking of a way to get round it. The theme this week is polka dots. I looked all through my papers even got out my xmas stash but no red and white polka dots. But I did have a dot background stamp, so i embossed white dots on red card and red dots on the white card. The rest was easy with some epoxy stickers.
Going to Weight Watchers meeting later, missed last week as I was child minding Grace, I have put on a few pounds since xmas so I really need to get in the Zone. Wish me luck, I need it, haven't really tried hard enough although it is tough as I am only on 18 points. I did think that maybe by going public so to speak it might help me to stay in control.

Card Patterns #52

I've just discovered Waltzingmouse Stamps by Claire Brennan and love them I used the Seasons of Love tags stamps, most of which are nestie friendly but they are easy to cut too, which is just as well as i don't have any.

The sketch this week from Card Patterns at first had me stumped. But I think it turned out OK.

Compose a Card #4

I am loving this challenge blog from Becky, she puts together a super package, there is a recipe a colour combo with a photo for inspiration, and a PDF files to download etc, and even a video. The recipe says to use a negative and positive stamp but I don't have any so I used white embossing powder on to black card. Don't have the correct card so used the nearest.

2 sketches 4 You Kazan's sketch#46

This card uses the sketch from 2 sketches 4 you. sometimes when you see some of the cards from the sketches the sketch is hard to recognise , which makes me laugh, but I like to follow it exactly.

I'm jumping ahead to Summer with this card, it seems such a long way off and Winter seems such a long season although the bulbs are coming up, it is so cold still.

I'm off to North Wales to see my son Stephen, DIL Rhiannon and grandson Rhys for a couple of days tomorrow, My Daughter Nicola and granddaughter Grace and I are driving up and staying at Ellesmere Port, which I know isn't in Wales but it isn't too far from where my son lives in Mold and is around the corner from the Shopping Outlet , so a bit of retail therapy and a visit to The Blue Planet. It will be nice to see them as we didn't manage to see much of them at Christmas and Nicola didn't see them at all.

It is Grace's Birthday soon and I made this card using Carol's Sketch, I'm afraid it is a bit OTT but that's the way Grace likes her cards, sweet and sugary with lots of glitter.

Thought I would make a card for a male after seeing Laura's card on 2 sketches 4 You. The frame stamp from Stampin Up made this so easy. I stamped and embossed this in seafoam white on green card also from stampin Up.

I just love the Clean and Simple challenge blog, and I am finding that I am getting to quite like this clean and simple style, although I couldn't resist using this pattered paper. I glittered the butterfly but it doesn't show too well in the photo.

Carol's Sketch Fun#19

I made it at last, I missed out on the last sketch by the super talented Carol and here I am again last minute. I did actually make a card last week but didn't like it, so decided to try it again and I like this one much better. I sold all my Valentine Cards that I had made to friends last week so thought I had better make some more.

It is snowing again here today, it snowed all day yesterday but it didn't stick, but it looks like it might today.
