Laura's sketch 29
It is a really hot day here again, and so this is a quick card, far to hot to be inside. My friends little boy will be 4 in July so I thought I would use the sketch from 2 sketches 4 you, for his card, the papers and chipboard stickers are from Basicgrey, I was going to to put his age on the card but just in time had second thoughts about it, not really appropriate, (think about it)

2 Sketches 4 You, Kazan's sketch 29
Been a little bit busy lately and not been blogging or Card making either. Brian and I had a fab weekend away and what with him being at home this week and baby sitting duties not had a lot of time to craft. but managed to make this for 2 sketches 4 you. I have had the papers for a long time now and when my Unity stamp June kit came with the cherry sentiment I thought of this kit with the chipboard cherry.

39 years and a posh hotel.
Well it will be 39yrs tomorrow. It is our wedding anniversay, how did we get here so quickly, it seems like only yesterday that I fell in love, and I know it sounds soppy, but it was love at first sight.
Anyway we are off for a weekend in a posh hotel in Chester, for a bit of rest and relaxation, actually our son Stephen lives in North Wales so we are to see him too, and with it being fathers day Sunday it will be nice to see him and his wife and our Grandson and spend the day together, and don't forget the shopping. Well maybe we should scrap the rest and relaxation bit.

The Next Level Sketch NO. 1
It is challenge 3 over on The Next Level and this week it is sketch No 1, and this is what I came up with the card had to have a removeable tag, the sentiment on the tag says "May your birthday be as special as you are"
Carol's Fun Sketch 7 & Just Magnolia
My bloggy friend Carol has her own challenge blog called Carol's Fun Sketch, this week it is also piecing on Just Magnolia. I used papers from craftwork cards. If you haven't visited Carol's blog yet why not hop on over.
I am still here, somewhere
I've been a bad blogger the last week, didn't do any challenges or anything. My mojo wasn't around either. But I haven't been entirely bone idle, I did make a Roman Blind for my dining room, and I also had enough material that cut off the width to make a table runner. anyway will it seems a bit of my mojo has resurfaced so will be back later to post a couple of cards.

Card Patterns 18
A great sketch this week on Card Patterns by Lisa I thought with father's day just around the corner I would make a card for the occasion.
Although my Dad is no longer with us, I know that most little and big girl's have a special place in their hearts for their Dad. I know for a fact that our daughter is the apple of her Dad's eye and in his eye's can do no wrong, and as for his adorable little granddaughter Grace, well that's a story for another day. He has a big heart, with lots of room for everyone. The papers are Papermania " love Jesse Edwards"
Just Magnolia 8
It's week 8 already over on the Just Magnolia challenge blog, how the weeks fly by. The sketch this week is by Rach and a great sketch it is too. I used papers by Basicgrey "Sugared".

Paige's Thank You Card
While my sister and her family were here last week, I sorted through my stash and found lots of stash for my niece Paige to take home, I know that she loves crafting. Here's is the thank you card that she sent me today. It is so beautiful and she even decorated the inside too. At 10 years old I think her card is brilliant.

My Sister
before my sister and her family came to visit last weekend, I scanned a photo I had of her two girls, my nieces Kira and Paige, it was taken a while ago as Kira is now almost 5 and Paige is 10, I thought it would be nice to do a layout for her to take home, I know my sister Mandi would love to have a go at scrapbooking and I thought maybe this might spure her on to have a go herself, if she ever finds the time, I used to be the same, but you have to make time to do the things you enjoy, just for yourself, sometimes. I left the tag blank so she could write on it herself.

It's a recipe on The Pink Elephant challenge this week, which is 3 buttons, 2 layers and 1 sentiment.
