Kazan's Sketch 16

No more xmas cards, although I have loved making all the xmas cards they are all now stamped, sealed and hopefully delivered.
Nice to do something different. I love the sketch this week over on 2 sketches 4 you, and at first thought that's an easy one, when I came to make it, that was not so, and after much thought came up with this from basicgrey archaic.

Handbag card

I not making any more Xmas cards this year and that's final. So I thought I would make a handbag card from the kit that I bought from the NEC in November by Craft Works Cards every thing except the ribbon is from the kit even the black zip toggle . This kit is just great value for just £10. Sorry the photo is not too good the light here is just not good enough for a decent photo.

December Calendar

Well here is the last page this year, actually that's a fib because I haven't done November yet, too busy making xmas cards last month. This was Grace earlier in the year, we only had one day of snow and that was rather thin and was soon gone by the time she had made her snowman the snow had nearly all gone, anyway she had lots of fun throwing snowballs at me and her Grandad. The papers are from HOTP, I punched the snowflakes from glitter paper and the letters are foam thickers.

It's December Already!

Where has the year gone, it seems that the older you get the quicker it goes

We put up the decorations yesterday as we are busy next weekend, we are having visiter's my nephew and his girlfriend from Holland are coming on the 6th for a few days.

It rained all day yesterday but today it is sunny, so I can put the little lights on the two bushes at my front door.

December is also both my kids birthday not kids really.. as Stephen will be 38 on the 12th and Nicola 34 on the 20th. Cards already made and prezzies bought and wrapped. just as well I make the cards myself now as the shops are full of xmas cards it seems you're not allowed to have a Birthday in Dec, or Jan either.

I am making my Dec calendar page today, never did get around to doing Nov's too busy making xmas card. i will post it later today if the sun is still shining, it is so hard to get a good picture now adays with the dark days.

Carol sent me this award, this is my very first award and I am so very pleased that Carol thought of me

Now I have to send it to 8 bloggy friends which is so very hard as there so many talented and frienly people out there so if I left you out so sorry

Red and Green Tag

This is the first tag I've made, for Tag You're It. It is Kath's turn this week. I though it would be so easy as the theme this week was Red and Green, dead easy I can make a tag like that, I found it harder than making a card, how silly is that. Anyway this is what I made after lots of rummaging for bits and bobs to make it.

Nec purchases

Had a great day at the show yesterday and here are my purchases I made, I could have bought more but ran out of time there is so much too see. The goody bag for £10 from Craftwork Cards was well worth the money with handbag cards and lots of papers and some of the Jelly tot things which are like brads without the legs. Can't wait to start playing. maybe this morning while hubby is playing Golf, should really be tackling the ever increasing pile of ironing, I'd rather be crafting, I know some people who don't do ironing, wish I was one, but how can you not iron, I also know some that love ironing, they even iron knickers, now they seriously need help.

Basic Grey Challenge

This is the first Basic Grey Challenge I have taken part, as I have only just discovered these papers and I just love them, will certainly be buying more Basic Grey. The challenge this week is Glitter which was so easy for me as I just love Glitter. In fact I had to restrain my self. The papers are from the Sugared 6 x 6 paper pad.

A few cards that I made using my new Basic Grey 6 x6 paper pads from QVC that came on Thursday. I love these papers, and the way all the papers in each pad co-ordinate with each other.
