Wedding Card

Blogging and Blog hopping takes up a lot of my time, and I'm rubbish at it, I hop onto blogs and don't always leave a comment, and then wonder why I don't get any either. I have noticed that if you put the effort in then maybe you might get some response from others. I love blogging and bloghopping, my cards have got better and I get so much inspiration from it, that it would be a shame to stop, so from now on I am going to try to be a better blogger, well we will see eh!

I was asked to make a wedding card for my neighbour the other day, she told me the colour scheme is blue and white. She is in the Bahamas at the moment (lucky thing) so I e-mailed her some ideas and she really liked the wedding card I made for my niece a while back. This is what I came up with.
I used Tim Holtz Weathered Wood to stamp the background then used Frost glimmer mist to colour the card. I also used frost to make the flowers which left them with a lovely shimmer. Then added some pearls, ribbon and lace which I bought from The Ribbon Girl.
The frame is from Waltzingmouse and the sentiment is Anna Griffin
I e-mailed the photo of the card to my friend and she e-mailed back to say she loves it so that's great. I do worry when I make cards for other people that they will like them, my friend is back home next week for a while so I can give it to her then, just hope she likes it as much in real life, so to speak.I think she will.

It is so cold here today, I think maybe some Housework first to warm me up. then the afternoon crafting. My craft room is on the 3rd floor of my house and it is always so much warmer in there, as we all know heat rises, but sometimes it gets too warn, never happy are we.
