What we did with Timmee

Kath was blown away by Timmee, she was looking for a bin for our coffe cups, and look what she found.
Even after lots of days of hard work he still had a big smile for us, and was happy to sign autographs and have his photo taken over and over again. He is just a really nice guy

Edited to add: That's better, Kath emailed me this one.

And this is what we made, isn't it cool, bags of trinkets and a Ranger goodie bag. I have never made anything like this before, but it won't be the last one. We had 4hours with Tim and it was absolutly fantastic and I enjoyed every minute.

Tim is such a good teacher he made it seem so simple, the doll is called Charlotte don't know why, but she is a bit spooky.

Happy 6th Birthday Grace

Here is the card I made for Grace's Birthday next week, and as you can see by the number on the card she will be 6. How quickly the years go, it seems like only yesterday that we were blessed with our adorable grandaughter. Brian and I are looking after today, as it is half term, and as I type Grace and her Grandad are watching G-Force, Grace is having Guinea Pigs for her Birthday hence the film.
Of course it had to be a fairy card, and Rosie with Presents by Lili of the Valley is adorable. I always have to colour the hair blonde as Grace is a blond like her Grandma, well mine does have a little bit of help from a bottle.

Waltzingmouse sketch challenge 35

One of those dreaded male cards, but this one was easy for a change, these papers which I bought from WHS, made it easy. It is called Desert Blooms. and there are flowers, strips and plain double sided and also glittered sheets. I the stamp is from walzingmouse. I used the sketch from Walttzingmouse challenge blog This is one sketch I will use again.

The excitment here is mounting, only 3 more sleeps to the Big event and only 2 more before Kath comes, which is also exciting I can't wait to meet up again and catch up with lots of crafty and girly chat.

LOTV Inspiration Book

when I see a card I like I save it to my computer and then print them out four to a page and keep them in an A4 folder, I decided to make a little 7 x 5 book to paste them in and here is the result.I used my bind it all and a 1/2 in coil.  Now I have a more compact book when I need some inpiration, trouble is I now need to make more for all the other folders, I have a folder for sketches and one for lots of my other favourites etc.

I combined 2 together again this week Viva la Verve and CR84FN colour challenge The stamp set is from Verve and the papers are from October Afternoon, Fly a Kite. The little tag is by Tim Holtz
The excitement is really building here now. Only 8 more sleeps before our adventure with Tim and only 7 more sleeps before meeting up with the lovely Kath. I know how tidy Kath is so lots to do around here before then. But somehow I think no matter what, my craft room will still be untidy. But hey artist at work, well that's what I tell Brian.

LOTV Challeng 84-Sketch by Dawny

The Sketch this week at LOTV challeng blog is by Dawny and she does the most fabulous sketches and they adapt so well to the Lili of the Vally stamps.
I made this for my dear daughter in law who is having a biggy this next month and I made an easel card so the number is hidden, well not that hidden lol. I used papers from pink petticoat papers which were a freebie with Quick card mag.I must admit that I only bought this mag for these papers.

Got to go now as we are going to a Party tonight up in Manchester and the traffic is always bad on a friday so it might take about 4-5 hours to get there. Anothere milestone Birthday this time as it is my sister in law's 50th.

VLVFEB2011, Week 2 and CR84FN14

Here's my card for Viva la Verve challenge iIdidn't use any Verve stamps this week as I didn't have any that had a Valentine theme, and I needed to make a card for my hubby, even though we have only been married 40 years he is still my special valentine.

I also combined it with Mona's Colour challenge.

More LOTV

Just thought I would show you my latest makes using the so pretty Lili of the Valley. I'm in love with these stamps.
I'm not usually a flowery girl but these flowers from Wild Orchid crafts are to die for.

I made another card using the image called Love grows as I sold the other one. I think I might have to buy this in a Stamp.

The weather here for the last few days has been so windy and awful, as I think it has been all over the UK. We have a huge tree outside our window and I keep thinking we might wake up one night with it in bed with us, although it is a big strong tree you never know, forever the worst case scenario sort of thinking.
Hope you have a great weekend whatever the weather.
