Stampin Up! Christmas in July

We had a super day yesterday at Putnoe Heights with the lovely Carol as host. we managed to get loads done, and lots of chat with all the lovely ladies there.
Advent Calendar a bit fiddly with all those little boxes but a lovely idea, I must admit that this is the class sample as I didn't finish mine.

Some of the lovely cards we made.

And a box to keep them all in.

And a gorgeous wreath. the original one was so much neater than mine, but then I think it all depended how tight your curling was.
I do love Stampin Up products the inks are brilliant and the card and paper is such great quality.

It's been a lovely sunny day here today, but very cold, hubby is away on a golfing weekend so had some fun in my craft room. I used this image from LOTV and had a little difficulty matching the papers, then I remembered these stampin up papers I bought last year.

Card Patterns #55

Another sketch challenge again today, this one from Card Patterns, we sometimes neglect the men in our lives when it comes to cardmaking, and I know Fathers Day isn't until June, the 20th actually, the same day as Our Ruby Wedding Anniversary.
I will be seeing my lovely daughter in law soon, and she always dips into my card box, I know she will be wanting a card for her father-in-law her own father is no longer with us, and my hubby and I no longer have our parents.
WW meeting today, only lost 1/2lb last week, really struggling to lose the last 1/2stone, and after spending most of the weekend eating, and Mothers Day, don't hold out much hope of a lose today.
Cardstock: Stampin Up
Paper: Papermania, Sunshine

Card Patterns #52

I've just discovered Waltzingmouse Stamps by Claire Brennan and love them I used the Seasons of Love tags stamps, most of which are nestie friendly but they are easy to cut too, which is just as well as i don't have any.

The sketch this week from Card Patterns at first had me stumped. But I think it turned out OK.

Stamps: Waltzingmouse seasons of Love and Stylin Stars from Unity Stamp Co.

Cardstock: Stampin Up.

Paper, buttons & ribbons: Papermania Sunshine, Goody bag.

Compose a Card #4

I am loving this challenge blog from Becky, she puts together a super package, there is a recipe a colour combo with a photo for inspiration, and a PDF files to download etc, and even a video. The recipe says to use a negative and positive stamp but I don't have any so I used white embossing powder on to black card. Don't have the correct card so used the nearest.

Thought I would make a card for a male after seeing Laura's card on 2 sketches 4 You. The frame stamp from Stampin Up made this so easy. I stamped and embossed this in seafoam white on green card also from stampin Up.
