Warren is the cute bunny by Craftworks cards. so cute I didn't know whether to make him Christmassy or not so did both using the sketch by Card patterns.

Card patterns 109- Wedding Day
Don't you just love Weddings, and with the spring and summer looming the wedding season is nearly upon us, i bought some very pretty flowers from QVC by Petaloo the other day and had to use one straight away, with the sparky jewel which I bought at The Hobby House, at the NEC. I used the challenge sketch at Card Patterns. Papers are by K & Co.

Snowflakes
I know that some places in the UK have had Snow, mainly Scotland I think, although here it has been sunny of late.
I bought this stamp set from Verve Stamps late last year, too late to make my Christmas cards, but when I saw this sketch from Card Patterns I wanted to use the garland stamp. The set is called Christmas in the air, and at the moment Verve Stamps has a bit of a sale on.
At least I will have a head start on Christmas.
Off to Weight Watchers soon to get my Gold Award, the leader Jo wasn't well last week so I had to wait untill this week hope I havn't put it back on, she might not let me have it, I have been a little naughty this week, kind of celebrateing with cake, choclate and wine. Well sometimes a girl just has to have these things, as well as new clothes etc. because nothing fits. haha.

Card Patterns 83
A quick post, have lots to do today, more about that later. Although I'm busy had to make time to have a play. made this card using the sketch at Card Patterns. Papers by MME Colorful Christmas.
I need a new Black Coat one of those black coats that will be OK for any occasion. We have a funeral to go to tomorrow and I don't have a black coat that fits, yeah more weight lose, only 2 1/2 lbs to go now to get to my goal, my brother-in-law and his wife lost there baby one week before she was due to be born, can't imagine what they are going though, so its off to Manchester tomorrow, so an early start in the morning. Although we are 200miles or so away, we are a close family and as you get older family becomes more important, so we need to be there for each other at these sad times.
But its not all sad times, there have been 2 weddings this year, and we are all getting together again on Saturday as it is Brian's my hubby's 60th birthday, we are having a big party with about 80 guests, and lots of relations staying over.

Card Patterns 82
Same Challenge blog Card Patterns
different sketch #82 , same Stamp from LOTV Skating Along. different Card. Papers from Basic Grey Dasher
and stickles and not forgetting that fab Martha Stewart glitter.
I know its Christmas again! Well I do love Christmas and every one expects a Handmade card, and my box is filling up quite nicely now.
All though I do have quite a few birthdays coming up soon so really need to get my act together.
It is Brian's birthday coming up in less than 2 weeks now and it is the big 60 I have already made his card but can't show you it yet as he sometimes lurks around here, we are having a big party up at his Golf Club with a live singer Jon Kendall, and my friend Letty's band " Isabelle" singing a few songs for us too. And over 70 guests some people coming from all over the UK and most of them staying over, now that most of the organising is done I feel I can relax a little bit more at least until the big day, it is actually his birthday on the day of the party and he is taking himself off for a game of Golf, I have to decorate the room at the Golf club with balloon's banners and some dodgy photos. We also have several guests arriving and staying at our house, I expect to be a little bit stressed on the day. Well I'm sure I'm worrying about nothing and everything will be fine. Anyway I feel so much better already.

Card Patterns 75
Yes. Still in Christmas mode. this time the sketch is from Card Patterns. I coloured the flowers with Fired Brick distress ink.
Looking after Grace for a few days this week so maybe not much time to craft,
I know I usually don't have much too say, it seems like nothing much happens here, which is true, apart from the housework and some crafting, what would I do without them. Might have to go out and get a job, but even though sometimes I go nearly all day and don't speak to anyone, I do quite enjoy my own company.
Anyway enough of feeling sorry for myself.

Pink Heels
What a super stamp this is, had it for a little while and this is the first time I've used it, but I think it I will be using it lots more. I added micro beads to to the heels and the floweres. I have a friend who is a shoe buyer
and has a whole room at home just for her shoes and they are usually killer heels. I myself just go for comfort, having had a job where I was on my feet all day. I think if your feet hurts it shows in your face, maybe that explains the wrinkles.
I made this using the sketch from Card Patterns.
Card: craftworks cards
Stamps: Hero Arts
Microbeads: Martha Stewart.

Let's hang out ~ Card patterns #57

I made this card for the Card Patterns challenge blog.
The stamp is from Unity Stamp co KOTM June 09 and I am ashamed to say still uninked that is until now, I paper pieced some of the clothes on the line. Seems that I must be getter braver as I even distressed the image with Tin Holtz, spiced marmalade distress ink pad.although I had to practice lots on scrap paper first, trouble is I buy these wonderful products and then I'm not sure what to do with them.

Card Patterns #55

Another sketch challenge again today, this one from Card Patterns, we sometimes neglect the men in our lives when it comes to cardmaking, and I know Fathers Day isn't until June, the 20th actually, the same day as Our Ruby Wedding Anniversary.
I will be seeing my lovely daughter in law soon, and she always dips into my card box, I know she will be wanting a card for her father-in-law her own father is no longer with us, and my hubby and I no longer have our parents.
WW meeting today, only lost 1/2lb last week, really struggling to lose the last 1/2stone, and after spending most of the weekend eating, and Mothers Day, don't hold out much hope of a lose today.

Some more Christmas cards, my box of cards is almost overflowing, I used the sketch from Card patterns and I love these gingerbread men, I bought the Martha Stewart papers from QVC last week. I really must start writing down the ingredients not for the gingerbread but the stash I used on my cards so I can list them properly.
