The last two days we have been looking after Grace, and for once the weather behaved, it been a lovely couple of days. On Thursday we went to Waddesdon Manor, Grace had a super time with Curly (her Build a Bear teddy) and also made some new friends as we also went with my friend Daphne who is a child minder. We later met up with Grandad and had fun with the mirror sculptures.
On Friday she decorated a wooden box which had held Turkish Delight, she did a great job and it made a wonderful Treasure Box.

TE July Kit
Have you been enjoying the games? I have and this is from a very unsporty person. Team GB are doing so well and it makes me proud to be British.
Here's a few of the cards I've made using the July Kit from Taylored Expressions. Had a lot of fun making these cards and love the paper which is Tea For Two by Cosmo Cricket.

More Christmas Cards
After all Christmas is just around the corner! Well maybe not quite yet, but it always comes around quicker than you think. Both my kids Birthday's are in December and I've always tried to be organised, it hard coping with both. Even though they are grown up now and I'm a Grandma, It's a habit for life. Some of these cards are cased as I always need some inspiration to jump start me. But I'm sure most people don't mind. I know I would be flattered if people like my cards enough to copy them.there is no shortage of Ideas out there.

Smash Books
I have just discovered Smash books from K & Co. It's very big in the US, and it's here in the UK. I bought mine from Craftsuperstore. I bought the Eco one which is green and as soon as it came I was Smashing my things in. You can find some videos on You Tube.
This is what I've done so far. I know I could have made a DIY one but I'm far too lazy for that and I quite like the fact that it is done for you and there are lots of accessories to use. I've already ordered another one for my daughter who is moving house soon I know she will love it as she loves using note books and writing lists.

CR84FN58 Colour Challenge
I haven't done a challenge for ages but I just love this colour combo of red, yellow and vanilla, I got a new stamp come yesterday called Mum's the Word by Penny Black and although it took a little while to colour, I think this will become a favourite. I don't think I can link to The challenge blog via my iPad but you should find a link on the right side of my blog via Cupcakes creations.

Key Ingredients June Kit
I know that it is now July but the kit doesn't ship until the 15th and it takes a couple of weeks to get here, and the annoying thing is I also had to pay a customs charge on the parcel, as a subscriber I had the chance to order the stamp set at half price, but as it turned out it wasn't such a bargain after all. I love this kit and stamp set though.
Hope all is well wherever you live. Here we are gearing up for the Olympics and on Monday we had the torch relay pass through our Town, it was amazing and brought everyone out onto the streets cheering it on.

More Christmas
I also made a Christmas tree shaped ornament which I got from Merly Impressions which was in the sale after Christmas earlier in the year. With some of the scraps from my cards I made some gift tags.
I must apologise to my readers for the layout of my posts recently but I am using the App on my iPad and it just doesn't give you the option to move things around etc.

Christmas starts here
Our little group Crafty Chicks had our summer retreat at the weekend and I decided to make a start on Christmas. As I got all my Christmas stash out I decided I definitely do not need any more Christmas stash, famous last words and all that, anyway I might just have a U-turn on that later on.

Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients May Kit
Some of the cards I made using the May kit from Taylored Expressions. The June kit is winging it's way across the ocean and should be here any day soon. As my Notebook is beyond repair, I persuaded Brian to buy an iPad and I'm sure when I get the hang of this Blogger for iPad I will be able to post more often.

A quick update.
I haven't posted for a while and I'm using my iPhone to post this. I haven't used iPhone blogger before so not sure how it will work, I might have to use it more as my computer is broken.

Little cards
I've not posted for ages, what with our visit to Dublin last week and the long Jubilee Bank Holiday, I haven't done much in the way of crafting, I made these a while ago just little 3 x 3 cards, I used some stamps by Stampin Up, and the sentiment and line stamp is by Waltzingmouse.
