A quick card today for Kazan's sketch on 2 sketches 4 you, week by week the sketches are getting better and better, I just love this challenge blog. You can never have enough thank you cards and I have some lovely friends to be thankful for.
The sketch this week on Mojo Monday is great. I used some new papers I bought at the weekend, you can never have too many papers, well maybe I have. they are from DCWV the Spring stack, with my magnolia stamp. You will be seeing lots more of these papers as they are simply Beautiful.
Double Dutch. it is a sketch. A friend asked me to make some Easter cards, she asked for slightly religious, not sure if this is what she wanted, but thought I would use this sketch for it anyway. Hope she likes this, as I have 3 more to do along the same theme.

I just love these Magnolia stamps, so cute. thought I would use up some papers from HOTP that I have had from when I first started cardmaking. The sketch with week from Card Patterns was an easy one, which is sometimes just what is wanted.

This is my 4yr old grandaughter's, Grace's card she made to day for Mother's Day so thought I would enter it in the card challenge for 2 sketches 4 you Youth Art Month.
Grace has also made lots more cards too, she really has a talent and loves cardmaking and crafting, and you can't tell her what to do she has her own ideas. Thanks for all your lovely comments, I see she is going to have to get her own blog soon.

Here is the card I made with some of the goodies that I bought at the NEC on Sunday. A great sketch this week at Card Patterns. This is my first Magnolia stamp(I bought two) and I think the first of many, they are so cute. The papers are Dovecraft, Wild Blossom.
Sorry I have been a bad blogger the past week just been so busy, went to the Nec on Sunday and bought some lovely goodies to play with.
I have one of thosed dreaded Male birthdays coming up soon and thought Kazan's sketch this week would work well.

Thought I would let you know where I've been just in case anyone missed me the last few days.
On Sunday Brian and I along with my daughter and son-in-law and not forgetting the most important person of all, little Grace, went to St. pancreas station to catch the Eurostar to Disneyland Resort Paris. We had a fab time there, and here are just a few photos. Not as warm as the one in Florida but a bit nearer. And even though the sun shone (for a little while anyway, whwn it wasn't raining) it was b***dy freezing but we were well layered up, and anyway we were having too much fun to notice the cold too much.Grace had a great time and loved every minute, as well as the Jasmine dress, and slippers and Stitch and Angel soft toys and more, well it was her 4th birthday last week, not that we really needed that as an excuse to treat her.

Another challenge and another fab sketch from Kazan over on 2 Sketches 4 you. It is mother's day on the 22nd of March so thought I would make a card using the free Forever Friends stickers which were free with PaperCraft Inspirations mag.

It is going to be my grandsons 17th birthday soon, and that's when the trouble starts as he is going to want to learn to drive. Worry, Worry, as I remember from when my son starting driving. At the time he didn't know what it was that I was worring about.
The Basicgrey challenge blog this week is to make something with a pocket and as I had some of HOTP Sara's surfaces lurching in my craft room, which I confess to buying ages ago and having used any of them yet, I thought the peek-a-boo pocket card would work perfect. though we would put some money in the pocket as that's what boy's of 17 usually want. The basicgrey papers are Archiac, so are the rubons and brads.
Sorry about the quality of the photo but it was getting dark by the time I took the photo.
